'Vendetta' Preview Gets Bloody with WWE's Big Show | Exclusive

17 August 2015 5:03 PM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Paul Wight, better known as WWE Superstar The Big Show, reveals the dark places he went to in portraying the ruthless killer Victor Abbott in our exclusive preview for Vendetta, arriving on Digital HD, Blu-ray and DVD August 18. While the wrestler is used to man-handling his opponents in the ring, The Big Show reveals that the opening scene, where his character kills a pregnant woman, was very difficult for him to shoot. We also hear from co-star Adrian Holmes, who discusses this brutal death scene, and from directors Jen Soska and Sylvia Soska, who show us how this death scene was pulled off by using a lifelike dummy.

A hardened detective will stop at nothing in his quest for vengeance in Vendetta, arriving on Blu-ray (plus Digital HD), DVD (plus Digital) and Digital HD on Tuesday, August 18 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment and WWE Studios. The film is currently available via On Demand. »

“Get Ready for Hell in a Cell”

The Soska Twins (American Mary) have seemingly gone from strength to strength. The pair first appeared on the radar with their film Dead Hooker in a Trunk and received great acclaim with their body modification horror, American Mary, starring Katharine Isabelle (Ginger Snaps). Thanks to the success of that film, they have been involved in projects such as The ABC’s of Death 2 and began a relationship with WWE Films starting with quite frankly god awful See No Evil 2. It’s safe to say that the pair have made quite an impact within the horror scene within a remarkably short time, »

Icons of Fright Chats With Vendetta/WWE’s Paul “Big Show” Wight!!

18 June 2015 3:44 AM, PDT | | See recent Icons of Fright news »

Paul Wight is one intimidating guy. Whether he’s slamming people down left and right as “Big Show” in the WWE, or doing other entertaining projects, the guy is one hell of a juggernaut that you wouldn’t want to cross in a dark alley at night.

Making for one hell of a villain in the now in theaters and VOD film Vendetta (directed by the wonderful Soska Twins, Jen & Sylvia), Paul shows a darker and completely vicious side of himself that holds his own against the film’s protagonist, a cop hellbent on revenge (played by Dean Cain). Wight commands every scene that he’s in and has one hell of an end fight in the film, one that ‘s for the books.

Wight was nice enough to chat with Icons of Fright about Vendetta and how the experience with working with who he likes to call his “angels”, as well as other topics. »
