Jon Bernthal on whether Shane could make an appearance in Fear the Walking Dead

Could Jon Bernthal’s Shane make an appearance in Fear the Walking Dead? The actor has weighed in with his opinion.

Bernthal’s performance as Shane in The Walking Dead was one that brought him to the attention of mainstream audiences and his career has gone from strength to strength ever since being killed off in season 2.

The question was put to Bernthal if his old character could turn up on the spin off Fear the Walking Dead, a possibility considering other characters have crossed over and the timelines don’t align.

Unfortunately for fans of Shane, Bernthal doesn’t seem to think it will happen, saying as much when asked by Daily Express (via ComicBook.com): “I loved Shane and whilst I’m super grateful I got to do that, he was a character that had a beginning, middle and end, and I got a whole rounded opportunity.

First Trailer For Ash Vs. Evil Dead Season 3 Is All About Ash’s Long-Lost Daughter

Deadites be damned, there’s a new threat on the horizon for Ash Williams, and it’s shaping up to be his toughest test yet: parenthood.

Yes, as IGN’s trailer premiere reveals, Ash Vs. Evil Dead season 3 will place Bruce Campbell’s one-armed legend in the company of his long-lost daughter, Brandy Barr, played by newcomer Arielle Carver-o’Neill. The mother? Candy Barr – no, really – and just yesterday, the folks over at Arrow in the Head uncovered an early peek at Ash’s former flame. It’s clearly taken from a flashback scene, as below you’ll find a close-up of Campbell’s urban legend rocking a mustache and some serious sideburns.

Candy Barr, meanwhile, will be brought to life by Katrina Hobbs. Up above, you’ll catch a glimpse of her in action alongside the fresh-faced Brandy, who immediately becomes an easy target for Ruby and her army of Deadites.

The Walking Dead actor recently opened up to People Celeb Parents Get Real about how he and wife Hilarie Burton prioritize teaching their 7½-year-old son Augustus “Gus” to treat everyone with kindness and respect.

“Everybody’s equal — we all love each other, and that’s so important for a little 7-year-old ,” says Morgan, 51, noting of his son that “it’s sad that we have to make sure he’s aware” of the idea of equality.

“But I think at this time and what’s going on in the world,

Frank Darabont Sues AMC Over ‘Walking Dead’ Again
Former “The Walking Dead” showrunner Frank Darabont has filed another lawsuit against AMC, claiming that an audit has uncovered more money that is owed to him from the hit zombie drama. The new suit, which also lists Creative Artists Agency and Dark Woods Productions as plaintiffs, seeks damages “in an amount to be determined at trial, but in no event less than $10 million.” “Having recently completed an audit of AMC’s accounting records, it is now clear that AMC’s wrongful conduct extends well beyond artificially deflated license fees,” the suit, filed Thursday in New York Supreme Court, reads. “AMC has used...

Expect Maggie To Continue Down Her “Path Of Vengeance” In The Walking Dead

The people of Alexandria bore witness to some truly horrific events throughout the first half of The Walking Dead season 8, and according to Lauren Cohan, things will only get worse before they get better.

Set to reprise the role of Maggie on February 25th, Cohan’s grief-stricken protagonist has been running on revenge ever since Negan murdered Glenn before her very eyes. It’s that ruthless act that continues to haunt Maggie, as evidenced by her decision to murder a Savior in cold blood and ship his lifeless body back to Negan – but not before she included a note (threat?) directed at Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s baddie.

It was a brutal and indeed shocking twist for a character who has so often been portrayed as a mild-mannered hero. But as Cohan tells Entertainment Weekly, Maggie has since been placed on a “path of vengeance.”

She continues down this path of

"Having recently completed its audit of AMC's accounting records, it is now clear that AMC's wrongful conduct extends well beyond…

Could Shane Swing By Fear The Walking Dead? Jon Bernthal Chimes In

Morgan Jones is bound for AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead, so why not Shane Walsh, too?

That very question was posed to Jon Bernthal during a recent interview with the Daily Express (via ComicBook.com), in which the former Walking Dead star entertained the possibility of resurrecting Shane. And, well, we hope we haven’t got your hopes up.

Because although Bernthal is immensely proud of his time on AMC’s flagship zombie drama, “Shane died in that field,” which is to say that there’s basically zero chance of Fear The Walking Dead welcoming Jon Bernthal into its midst. Not now, and perhaps not ever, as the actor tells the Daily Express:

I loved Shane and whilst I’m super grateful I got to do that, he was a character that had a beginning, middle and end, and I got a whole rounded opportunity. I feel like we

Frank Darabont, CAA Launch Second 'Walking Dead' Lawsuit Against AMC

In a sequel to explosive litigation over The Walking Dead, the highest-rated drama in cable TV history, Frank Darabont and Creative Artists Agency are suing AMC a second time with new claims of being robbed of tens of millions of dollars in additional profits.

The 2013 lawsuit filed by Darabont, the show's co-creator and first executive producer, is still very much active, and the parties are eagerly awaiting a judge's summary judgment decision determining if that $280 million case goes to trial.

The judge is ruling on numerous issues, but none more financially impacting than the controversy over...

Telefonica’s Movistar + New Head Sergio Oslé on First Series Results, Cinema, Engaging Audiences (Exclusive)

Madrid — The office of Sergio Oslé, the new head of film and TV at Spain’s Telefonica, one of Europe’s biggest telecoms, sports a dazzling red-toned painting of a bowl of fruit. Otherwise the walls are bare.

“I must put something of my own up on the walls,” Oslé jokes. He might not have the time. A Stanford U alum and longtime McKinsey director, Oslé joined Telefonica on Nov. 1 as head of audiovisual and video Spain, just as Telefonica’s pay TV unit Movistar + , which he oversees, was seeing the first results from its first three original series, which mark the biggest bet on scripted content of any telco in Europe.

More than 80% of the series’ consumption is on-demand, Oslé said. So final numbers still have to come in. Results to date are on track, however, to place the trio in the top five of most-watched series ever on Movistar +, Spain’s by-far biggest pay TV

What Does AMC’s New TV Term “Prestige Popcorn” Mean?

Just what exactly does the phrase “prestige popcorn” really mean? This is a phrase that was recently coined by an executive at AMC Network, the home of the ever-popular television show “The Walking Dead,” among others. The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus Was “Desperately Unhappy” About Carl’s Death

The Walking Dead has had no shortage of shocking deaths over the past eight seasons, to say the least, but it may have just committed its most controversial character exit ever. As everyone knows by now, the midseason finale that aired in December revealed that Carl Grimes had been bitten by a walker, meaning that Rick’s son is sure to meet his end when the show resumes next month.

Seeing as Chandler Riggs has been with the series since the very beginning and is one of the few original cast members who was left, fans have not reacted positively to this. It turns out that it’s not just the audience who feel this way, though, as The Walking Dead‘s Norman Reedus opened up to EW on the topic, too, saying that he was “desperately unhappy” when he found out about Carl being killed off.

“I was desperately unhappy about that.
