She has no past. She has no family. She was raised in an orphanage. So, she lives for what she does best: be an FBI agent. That's why Audrey Parker is sent to a distant Maine village called Haven, to investigate the crime of a prison fugitive. What she does not know, is that her past is connected to that village, that old threats from the past are coming back, and she is going to be a central piece on everyone's life... or death.
FBI agent Audrey Parker arrives in Haven, Maine, to help the local police and joins forces with the Chief's son, Nathan Warnous. Whilst helping with everything in the small town Audrey finds out truths she never would've expected and together she and Nathan begin to unravel the 'troubles' that surround the local area and begin to become more and more engrossed with what is causing the strange occurences that are terrifying and even killing the locals.
Audrey Parker is an FBI-agent with an open mind and without any known relatives. When she is sent to the small town of Haven, Maine, to investigate and track down a prison escapee, she discovers that Haven is unlike any other town. It's a town where many "troubled" people live - people who possess supernatural abilities, like changing the weather, making nightmares come alive, or even telepathy. Audrey is thrown into a multitude of cases as she partners up with Nathan Wuornos, a bright young police officer at the local police department. Soon it is discovered that the town of Haven has dealt with supernatural phenomena before, which are known as "the Troubles". Additionally, it becomes apparent that Audrey's past is somehow linked to Haven and the Troubles...
Everyone in the coastal town of Haven, Maine has a dormant curse or "trouble" that could trigger at any time for any reason. FBI agent Audrey Parker, the sheriff and the town's black sheep must deal with the troubles' deadly effects.
