Kitne Paas Kitne Door (1976) movie
22 February 2014 | by See all my reviews

This Hindi film of 1976 was a message giving entertainer. A social drama with 100% entertainment without any heroic stunts or obscene dances/scenes. Film can be watched by entire family and the film gives a lesson to avarice people to avoid wanting free money. The film shows the streets of Delhi and Kolkatta of those times and the way of working of banks in cities and the lifestyle of erstwhile Maharajas and Nawabs in bengal provinces. Also one can notice the effects of the emergency that clamped in those days as also the dictating leadership qualities of Indira Gandhi the then prime minister of India. The music was melodious. Action of Utpal Dutt was simply superb and that of Heena Kausar was most attracting.
