Storyline

Even Travis blurts out that he is embarrassed by his dad when Bobby makes him spend 'their' weekend on a stranded boat, inviting their neighbor, Andy Torres, to join them. Bobby calls Jules for help, but when she's late he get's *the* 'fatherly' speech: take it like a man. Jules is as eager as lover Josh for their ten dates rule 'no-sex' to end. When it finally does happen, she's so over-stressed about superfluous preparations and allows her female 'friends' to abuse her eagerness to help, so the sex is disappointing. Written by KGF Vissers

Did You Know?

Goofs

When Jules and Josh are having lunch, they mention that they are on their 7th date. Jules then says that a previous date counts as 2 dates and they conclude that this date is therefore their 9th date. This is wrong. The previous date would already have been counted as 1 date, so they had to only add one date. Therefore their lunch date was their 8th date, and the special 10th date was actually their 9th date. The One With The Tenth Date...
3 May 2015 | by (Australia) – See all my reviews

I love this episode. It's so funny. I think it's definitely one of my all-time favorite Season 1 episodes. I don't understand why the guy from the first episode, suddenly disappeared. It seemed like they really liked each other. I guess not.

In this episode, Jules has decided not to sleep with Josh until their tenth date. When it finally comes around, she spends a whole day preparing. She has to get waxed, a manicure and pedicure, new sheets, candles, and do some exercises. It's apparently a lot harder for women in their forty's to get ready for sex. But things keep disturbing her day. She has to help people, which she loves doing, but it makes the preparation time go down a lot. After she and Josh finally have sex, she is devastated to hear that she isn't as great as sex as she thought. Meanwhile, Travis says he's embarrassed by Bobby, which of course hurts his feelings, so they spend a guys weekend on Bobby's land-boat, with Andy.

Overall, I give this episode a 9 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Amazing.
