First and only episode not to begin with "Mr. Monk..." See more
The first victim was a janitor but the building manager called him the maintenance man. "Janitor" and "maintenance man" are not interchangeable terms and the building manager would know this. Janitors clean while maintenance fixes things (and get paid more). Also, the janitor was shown going a long distance to throw out half a bag of trash. A real janitor would take out all the trash at once instead of making multiple trips. It is also very strange that the janitor was throwing the garbage into the shredder/compactor by handfuls rather than dumping it by bagful. See more
Okay Mr. Monk congratulations. You win. You're going to spend your birthday alone, and the next birthday after that, and the one after that too, until you finally die alone and pathetic and miserable and sad and alone.
Deal. Can we fix the vacuum now?
