” star took home the Best Actress award at Cannes this year for “In the Fade,” and now comes word that the drama has been acquired by Magnolia Pictures
with an awards-qualifying run planned for this autumn. ScreenDaily reports that a theatrical release will follow in early 2018.
The timely, well-reviewed German film sees Kruger playing a woman seeking revenge after her husband and son are killed in a bomb attack carried out by Neo-Nazis.
