Armed with a licence to kill, Secret Agent James Bond sets out on his first mission as 007 and must defeat a weapons dealer in a high stakes game of poker at Casino Royale, but things are not what they seem.
In Paris, Professor Moriarty picks up a newspaper (the Daily Graphic). On the back of the paper is an ad for "Lazenby's Soup Squares" . At the end of the movie, Holmes , while speaking to Moriarty, says "On Her Majesty 's Secret Service", the title of the Ian Fleming James Bond novel and the only Bond film starring George Lazenby. This movie is said to take place in 1891 . However , in the prequel we see Holmes reading a newspaper which is dated November 1891 . He cant have solved that case and this one in such short time . See more »
