"Bad Reputation" was another hilarious episode of "Glee"
14 October 2010 | by (Baton Rouge, La.) – See all my reviews

This "Glee" episode is about reputations as Sue's suffers because a video of her performing "Physical" gets on YouTube and every faculty member-including guest star Molly Shannon-laughs at her in slow motion. And both Puck and Rachel team up for a video in order to show how they're more than their stereotypical selves. Too bad the song she chooses-"Run, Joey, Run"-is so cheezy and that she also has Finn and Jesse also participate in it. Oh, and "Physical"s original artist, Olivia Newton-John, also appears...This may not be the most logical of "Glee" eps but it's one of the most hilarious to me simply because of that duet of that song I've mentioned twice by both Ms. Newton-John and Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch in great parody mode) in a duet. And that "Run, Joey, Run" video was also hilarious in it's melodrama. Plus, there are performances of the first two songs that contained samples of other songs I remember ever hearing, both from 1990: "U Can't Touch This" which had the music of "Superfreak" and "Ice, Ice, Baby" which was originally "Under Pressure". The Glees performed well in both. I'm now gonna review the next episode...
