Storyline

Booth, still suffering some lingering effects from his brain surgery, has to get re-certified for FBI marksmanship, but is not the accurate shot he was before going under the knife. Meanwhile, the team at the Jeffersonian investigates the remains of a little person discovered in a sinkhole. The victim, Bryce DaFonte, also known as "The Iron Leprechaun," competed in a popular wrestling league, but the popularity of the franchise left him with many enemies, including bitter competitors and scorned lovers, any of whom could have caused his downfall. Trivia

During the original air date, Fox was having a "Tribute to The Simpsons" week during which their shows would somehow reference The Simpsons (1989). In this episode, Dan Castellaneta (who voices Homer Simpson) makes a guest appearance. Also, in the first scene inside the lab at the Jeffersonian, an X-Ray of Homer Simpson's head is clearly hanging in the background. See more »

Goofs

In the diner scene with Angela talking to Gordon Wyatt, she told him that in order to be able to successfully eat the sandwich he was wrestling with, he'd have to distend his jaw like an articulated python. This should have been a reticulated python. See more »

Quotes

Dr. Gordon Wyatt: Temperance Brennan. You're in love with her. You're building a world around her. A family.
Special Agent Seeley Booth: We're not compatible. She sees the world one way. I see it...
Dr. Gordon Wyatt: No. Of course, it's absolutely ludicrous the idea of you two together. *But* the heart chooses what it chooses, we don't really have a say in the matter.
