"Frozen," "Monsters University" Top Annie Awards Nominations!

3 December 2013 1:17 PM, PST | Manny the Movie Guy | See recent Manny the Movie Guy news »

Nominations for the 41st Annual Annie Awards were announced and "Frozen" and "Monsters University" led the pack with 10 nominations each. "Despicable Me 2" and "The Croods" followed closely with 9 noms each.

I am rooting for "Frozen" to win! It's a return to form to what Disney does best -- affecting fairy tale with memorable musical numbers. "Monsters University," on the other hand, was bland. The film bored me on second viewing.

Steven Spielberg will receive the Winsor McCay Award for career achievement at the awards ceremony happening on Saturday, Feb. 1, at Royce Hall on the UCLA campus. Patrick Warburton will serve as host.

Following our story back in June as to whom the big-baddies of The Amazing Spider-man 2 may be, we considered the possibility that the fan-favourite of not one, but six Spider-Man enemies turning up in the form of the Sinister Six, which may soon become a reality. Now the inclusion of the Sinister Six up until recently has all been speculation, theory and some serious grinding of the rumour mill.

Although, consider this set photo released last month (seen below) featuring Avi Arad next to a ‘Sinister Six’ building. Along with TotalFilm’s recent interview (Potential spoilers!) with Jamie Foxx regarding him being a part of the Sinister Six, which he then confirmed had been actively discussed in production. it turns out we may be seeing the Sinister Six on the silver screen in The Amazing Spider-man 2, if not 3.

2 August 2013 7:39 AM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - TV news news »

Before the week is out we will know the identity of the 12th Doctor. Man, woman, black, ginger, disabled, cat, dog... we couldn't care less anymore, we just want to know who it is. The tension is killing us.

In an attempt to try to keep us busy until the big reveal on Sunday night (August 4), Digital Spy has been doing some fantasy Doctor Who casting.

Keep reading to find out who we would like to see taking over from Matt Smith in the Tardis.

Jamie Dornan - Alex Fletcher, Deputy Editor

I always prefer Doctor Who when it has a darker and more sinister tone, so ideally I'd like the BBC to pick someone who is more Eccleston than Tennant in style. If I was truly in fantasy land, I'd go for Andrew Lincoln, but he's currently far too busy kicking zombie ass on The Walking Dead.

So if I can't have Lincoln, »
