Elisa Donovan And David Lascher Guest Star On ‘Melissa & Joey’ Tonight – Interview

I hope you’re watching ABC Family‘s Melissa & Joey, and if you are, you’ve got a treat in store for you tonight as the show welcomes two cool guest stars. It’s a Sabrina, the Teenage Witch and Blossom reunion with both Elisa Donovan and David Lascher joining Melissa Joan Hart in fun guest spots.

The pair have an interesting, oft-intersecting career path. Just to refresh your memory, both were on the Clueless television series, both were on Blossom, Beverly Hills, 90210, and Sabrina.

Elisa Donovan has recently been on The Lake, in a slew of The Dog Who… movies, and was on the really awesome webseries, In Gayle We Trust, which she actually mentioned during the interview.

Lascher will always be Ted from Hey Dude! to many, but hasn’t done a lot of acting post Sabrina.

As I said, the duo are on Melissa & Joey tonight (see

Clueless: What the cast did after hit teen comedy

Clueless: What the cast did after hit teen comedy
Iggy Azalea paid tribute to cult teen classic Clueless in her recent music video for 'Fancy'.

The Australian rapper appears as Alicia Silverstone's iconic character Cher in the video, which was released online last week.

As stars continue to be inspired by the movie almost 20 years on, we take a fond look back at the cast and what they went on to do after Clueless:

Alicia Silverstone (Cher Horowitz)

Alicia Silverstone played seemingly shallow socialite Cher - famously branded "a virgin who can't drive" and "hymenally challenged" - in the high-school adaptation of Jane Austen's Emma.

Prior to Clueless, Silverstone's credits included ABC comedy-drama The Wonder Years and a number of Aerosmith videos. The film propelled her to further fame, and she went on to star in Joel Schumacher's 1997 movie Batman & Robin, crime-comedy Excess Baggage (1997) with Benicio Del Toro and Christopher Walken, and romantic drama Blast from the Past (1999) opposite Brendan Fraser.

DVD Review: Breaking Wind – Part 1

Breaking Wind: Part 1

Stars: Heather Ann Davis, Eric Callero, Frank Pacheco, Michael Adam Hamilton, Alice Rietveld | Written and Directed by Craig Moss

Directed by Craig Moss, the man behind The 41 Year Old Virgin Who Knocked-Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It, Breaking Wind: Part 1 is, like Vampires Suck before it, a spoof of the blockbuster Twilight franchise and follows Bella – who finds herself the object of everyone’s affection including Edward Colon, Jacob the overweight but girthy werewolf and Little Edward the three foot six pint sized version of Edward. If that wasn’t enough to worry about, Bella and the gang soon realise that an army of freshly turned vampires (Noobs) are making their way down from Seattle to Forks to kill Bella after tracking her scent from her only copy of ‘Ebony Thunder’ magazine. Both the Colons and the Werewolves must come together to protect Bella,

Jane By Design DVD Review And Giveaway Plus Interview With Erica Dasher

ABC Family has another hit on its hands, though it may be diving further and further toward ABC Family (Women), and Jane by Design has opted for the ultra-quick DVD release. Hitting just two weeks after the season finale, the DVD doesn’t offer bonus features, but gives you the chance to jump into the show, in case you didn’t get on board until after everyone was talking about it.

The show, though certainly mainly geared toward a certain age demographic, delivers solid writing, and layered characters. Like many of the shows currently airing on ABC Family, Jane by Design rises above the expectations it likely creates on paper.

16 year-old Jane thinks she’s applying to be an unpaid intern for a fashion powerhouse, but is mistakenly interviewed to be an executive assistant to one of the biggest names in the game, and at an impressive salary to boot.

DVD Release: Breaking Wind

  • Disc Dish
DVD Release Date: March, 27, 2012

Price: DVD $26.98

Studio: Lionsgate

Heather Ann Davis vamps for Eric Callero in Breaking Wind.

The 2011 comedy movie Breaking Wind is the inevitable parody film of the Twilight vampire saga.

Like the Twilight books and film, Breaking Wind revolves around a love triangle of mortals, vampires and werewolves — all of which must be put on hold when the beloved Bella (Heather Ann Davis, TV’s The Lake) finds herself in danger (for a change). This time, a gang of bloodsucking newborns threatens her safety, and the two loves of her life are forced to put their differences aside to save her. Again.

Directed by Craig Moss, who helmed the 2010 spoof The 41-Year-Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It, Breaking Wind features a slew of stars who’ve made their bones on TV, including Davis, Eric Callero (TV’s Terminator: The Sarah Conner

Toilet Humour Galore In New Trailer For Twilight Spoof Breaking Wind

Following on from the reveal of some new artwork for the latest 'Twilight' spoofage 'Breaking Wind' the Craig Moss' ('Bad Ass', 'The 41-Year-Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It') project has opened it's humour doors some more by unleashing a new trailer filled with toilet-humour and not overly bad sight gags. It's a shame the spoof genre has effectively lost its footing quite dramatically since the 90's. However, it'll take something far more special than something like 'Breaking Wind' to really get it back on its feet. The spoof stars the likes of Heather Ann Davis ('The Lake'), Eric Callero, Frank Pacheco ('Wizards of Waverly Place') and Danny Trejo ('Machete'). Check out the new trailer below and check it out on DVD when it arrives this March courtesy of Lionsgate...

Hey! You Smell That? Lionsgate is Breaking Wind at The Twilight Saga!

Though it's still a bit of a mystery to us how the teenage saga of beastiality and necrophilia known as The Twilight Saga ever became so popular in the first place, we are happy about one thing ... the spoofs.

Look for Breaking Wind: Unrated Director's Cut on March 27th.

From the Press Release

Fans of spoof films are in for a treat this March as Lionsgate premieres Breaking Wind: Unrated Director's Cut on DVD, Digital Download and On Demand. From writer-director Craig Moss (The 41-Year-Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It) comes a hilarious new film that parodies the Twilight saga. The comedy stars Heather Ann Davis (TV's "The Lake"), Eric Callero (TV's "Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles"), Frank Pacheco (TV's "Wizards of Waverly Place"), Nic Novicki (HBO's "Boardwalk Empire"), and Danny Trejo (Machete). The DVD debut also includes outtakes, deleted and extended scenes,

More Twilight Spoofage Uncovered In Craig Moss Breaking Wind

Whilst Craig Moss' spoof flick 'The 41-Year-Old Virgin Who Knocked Up Sarah Marshall and Felt Superbad About It' decided on the odd idea of parodying a bunch of comedy movies his new spoofy take on the 'Twilight' franchise may have a little more bite. But the on the otherhand if it is anything like the suck fest that was Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer's 'Vampires Suck' then we're all in a world of hurt! Some new artwork for the planned DVD release has turned up featuring its three leads Heather Ann Davis -below ('The Lake'), Eric Callero and Frank Pacheco ('Wizards of Waverly Place') who play Bella, Edward and Jacob respectively. Danny Trejo ('Machete') also pops up as the character of Billy Black. Trejo also stars in Moss' new action thriller 'Bad Ass' which should see the light of day soon.

Catching up with 'Beverly Hills, 90210'

Catching up with 'Beverly Hills, 90210'
After 10 seasons on the small screen, fans of Fox's primetime soap "Beverly Hills, 90210" (1990-2000) can relive the magic without guilt. After all, the date is 9/02/10.

"Chuck" executive producer Josh Schwartz tweeted a fan-made video of a "Gossip Girl" opening to "Beverly Hills, 90210's" iconic 1990s theme. Star Jennie Garth, who was a regular for the entire 10-season run said via Twitter, "Love to the original cast and crew. And the new kids too."

Logo from Season 1   The original hourlong drama introduced us to a slew of stars (and two-time Oscar-winning actress Hilary Swank) both past and future, and a decade after the show ended its run, several castmembers went on to other projects. But would they be able to sustain success in their post-"90210" careers?

The biggest surprise -- and possible discovery -- was Swank's 16-episode arc as Steve Sanders' (Ian Ziering) girlfriend Carly Reynolds in the ninth season.

DVD Playhouse: July 2010

DVD Playhouse—July 2010

By

Allen Gardner

Two From Powell/Pressburger Criterion releases gorgeous new transfers of two of the greatest films to come out of post-war Britain, from that period’s greatest filmmaking team: Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger. Black Narcissus was originally released in 1947 and caused a sensation with its explosive story about a nun (Deborah Kerr), cloistered in a remote convent in the Himalayas, who must battle elements both external (the punishing weather) and internal (temptations of the flesh over duty to the spirit). Also features stellar turns by England’s greatest actresses at the time: Flora Robson, Kathleen Byron and a young Jean Simmons. One of the most dazzling films ever made, bolstered by Oscar-winning cinematography from Jack Cardiff. Bonuses: New transfer, supervised by Cardiff, editor Thelma Schoonmaker Powell; Introduction by filmmaker Bernard Tavernier; Commentary by Powell and Martin Scorsese; Featurettes; Documentaries and interviews; Trailer.
