Together again!
4 November 2009 | by (New York) – See all my reviews

The idea of bringing back together the members of a successful television series is at the center of this fun installment of "Curb Your Enthusiasm" where the members of the "Seinfeld" are going to do a reunion show, typical of those shows that gather the stars many years later. Although the series has been off the air for a little more than a decade now, the mere thought of bringing the cast for another show is a welcome addition.

The episode serves not only as the "Seinfeld" show being put together, but it also mixes that idea with the last season of "Curb Your Enthusiasm". Larry David, the force behind both programs is celebrated and praised for having given most of these actors and technicians some of the best moments of their respective careers. Mr. David is like that friend we all love, but who can irritate us at times.

One thing that is the key to understanding Larry is how he feels about how to apologize sincerely, and when the person is truly sorry to have offended. The other theme is tipping. When Jason Alexander and Larry decide to have separate checks, he figures they would both give the same amount, but to Larry's surprise, he is out-tipped by Jason. Larry also has something to say about finding out an excuse was a blatant lie, as seems to be the case with Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who tells Larry she's taking a daughter to a birthday party.

Larry David and his friends are a lot of fun to be with!
