Storyline

Tom fills in for Lynette at the office excellently, but when she hears Carlos plans to keep him on assuming she'll want to stay home with the baby hell breaks loose. As her sex-appeal is questioned, Susan can't resist 'tempting' Mike to have sex over and over again, until he's exhausted and spent. Having inherited Karl's share in a strip-club, she planned to sell off the 'dirty business', but after finding out Mike is well-known there waves his explanation to be their regular repair man, first acts possessively jealous and when he coldly waves her 'veto' resorts to shifting the embarrassed shoe on his foot. As the crash confined Orson to a wheelchair, Bree lets the reverend shame her into calling off the divorce and dutifully caring for him at home, but he plans a more active revenge, while Andrew is confused by their successively revealed secrets. The school entrance sage reveals Carlos's pride over his Mexican heritage clashes with Gaby's over having escaped poverty. Written by KGF Vissers

Changes In The Characters After The Plane Crash Incident
14 August 2014 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

After flashbacks that happened in the previous episode,a lot of interesting events happen in You Gotta Get a Gimmick.A lot of character developments happen in the people at Wisteria Lane particularly Susan,Bree,Lynette and Gabrielle.

Tension rises between Susan and Mike after she learns that he is a regular customer at a strip club. She learns of this when Karl left an interest for her in the particular strip club that her late husband after he died.

Bree felt guilty when she realized that Orson is on a wheelchair after the plane crash incident. She makes it a point to take her back personally at home. This happened after talking to a priest about her marriage and she feels a lot of guilt after entering into an adulterous affair knowing that her husband is now paralyzed.

With regards to Lynette and Gabrielle, both have somewhat pacified towards one another. This happened after Gabrielle felt tons of gratitude towards Lynette for the effort she exerted in saving her daughter,Celia during the plane crash.Due to this,Gabrielle is forced to examine her feelings towards her.Meanwhile,Lynette was somewhat surprised when she realized that Tom is interested in her job in Carlos' company.

Just like what I said previously, changes in the characters happens that was sparked by the plane crash disaster. The argument between Lynette and Gabrielle are placed on halt and restoring their friendship with one another is a possibility. As for Susan and Bree, their respective marriage could go on opposite directions when the former could breakdown after discovering her husband's visits to the strip club while the latter to possibly restore her love for Orson after realizing that her husband is now a paralytic.Definitely an enjoyable and entertaining episode.
