- The Bolens are blackmailed for money; Lynnette's lawsuit against Carlos further escalates; A small plane crashes into the Wistera Lane block party.
- Angie and Nick Bolen are forced to pay for Danny's medical expenses without insurance. Unfortunately, Danny makes the mistake of confiding in a sympathetic nurse the real reason why his parents are on the lamb (something about Angie killing a man back in New York), and that nurse maliciously blackmails the Bolens for money. Meanwhile, Katherine's daughter, Dylan, returns to Whisteria Lane for a visit which coincides with Katherine escalating her twisted plans to destroy Mike and Susan's lives by calling the police and having him arrested by telling the cops a fabricated story about Mike stabbing her. Lynnette's lawsuit against Carlos and his company further escalates more which puts a further riff between her and Gabrielle. Bree and Orson come to an agreement about their marriage, while Karl decides to propose to Bree at Wisteria Lane's annual street block party. But things take an unexpected turn when the pilot of the small Cencessa plan has a heart attack while arguing with his nagging and spiteful wife and the plane goes down and crashes... right on top of the block party.—matt-282

Mary Alice tells us all about unhappy couple Daphne and Jeff Bicks. We meet them, they work together in an airplane hangar. She's a chronic complainer and he wonders when God would end his suffering. They get into a small plane and fight. So much that he tells he wants a divorce, proffering a divorce attorney's card. She argues that she gets half of his business, which he started, with her dad's money. He freaks and starts to have a heart attack.
Tom, at an outdoor party, notices the small plane flying very low. Parker agrees it's going to crash.
We get an onscreen title that tells us it is "three days earlier." The Wisteria gang is prepping their annual Yuletide festival complete with tree, big candy canes and nutcrackers, and Santa's workshop. Lynette makes a joke but Gaby refuses to laugh, still bitter. Bree wonders what's up and tells them to work it out since they're supposed to be caroling in a few days as "the Jingle Bells." It all comes out: the pregnancy, the firing, the lawuit. Susan wants them to stop fighting and embrace the Christmas spirit.
Just then an ambulance races up. Katherine is being hauled out of her house. She points out Mike to the police from her stretcher.
Mona, the nurse, comes to visit Tyler and offers soup, since he's hungry. He wonders why she's calling him Tyler. He claims he was dreaming when he said it was his name the night before and says his name is Danny. He asks for his mom. She says they can't see him while he's under observation.
Angie and Nick are fighting with the desk clerk about giving insurance information, they want to pay cash. Mona comes out and pulls them aside. She says she knows they're in witness protection. They play along and say they are but Angie points out if Mona says anything they're going to have to have her whacked and then they laugh.
Bree serves Orson with divorce papers and then the photos with Lamar. She says it's over. He calls it needless to do this. He says he was bluffing about sending her to jail, he would never hurt her that badly. He realizes he should've realized it was over when she believed that he would. He says he'll pack after breakfast. She says for what it's worth she's sorry it has to end this way. Him too, he'll miss her scones.
Susan brings Bob to visit Katherine to help assuage her crazy accusation against Mike. Katherine is talking to Dylan on the phone, telling her not to come. Susan enters and Katherine is surprised. Susan says she's concerned. Katherine says Susan is the one who should be concerned since Mike is a maniac. Susan laughs and says they both know that Mike didn't do this. Katherine gives her a "really" and says she's got seven stitches and a knife with Mike's fingerprints on it that say otherwise. Susan points out it makes no sense for him to stab her. She says it was because it was Katherine said she's in love with someone else. Susan begs her to stop lying. Katherine says it's Mike's fault not hers. She's flattered that he would go this far to keep her from being with someone else. Lee asks how it went. Susan says she can't tell if she's crazy or devious. Lee thinks it's both. Susan wonders if she can be committed. Lee says only a family member can do that. Susan has the nurse call Dylan back and pretends to be a British doctor and tells Dylan to come after all. Lee calls that devious, with a smile.
Lynette's clipping coupons, which Penny thinks is fun. So will doing her own roots and getting rid of cable says Lynette. Penny wonders if they're poor. Only financially, says Lynette. Tom calls her away and tells her he can't get a refund from school but he's looking or a job and they have enough money to live on for the next four months. Right before the baby's arrival Lynette points out. She apologizes for what she's done to the family. Tom thinks they'll get money from the lawsuit. She's sad they'll live off the money they made from suing their best friends. Lynette is even sadder since Gaby tried to apologize. Tom says it's her turn.
At the Solis house Carlos says the Lynette thing is turning into a fiasco and even if he's in the right it makes them look bad to go after a pregnant woman. Either way it shakes out he'll probably lose his job. The doorbell rings and it's Lynette. Gaby slams the door in her face.
Bree calls Karl and tells him Orson signed the papers and says they can be together soon and agrees to meet him at the motel. Orson walks in on her calling him my darling. She apologizes again and says she didn't tell him about it because she felt she had hurt him enough for one day. He asks who it is and wonders if it's someone he knows. Then he backtracks and says he doesn't want to know. He asks if she told her friends? He doesn't want the Christmas party to turn into a pity fest for poor Orson. Bree promises she won't go public with the new relationship until they're divorced and says the affair won't be an embarrassment to him.
Cut to: Karl hiring the Bicks to pull a banner saying "will you marry me Bree?" over the party. The two bicker in front of Karl and he gives the husband his card since he's a divorce lawyer.
Dylan arrives back at Wisteria Lane. Susan tries to convince her of the truth and says she's so worried about Katherine. Dylan is angry at Susan because she thinks Katherine is married to Mike and that Susan stabbed her mother. Susan can't believe it and says they need to talk. Susan shows her the wedding photos. Katherine has been telling Dylan for months about her life with Mike. Susan says Katherine needs help and so does Mike. Dylan asks what Susan wants her to do.
Mona comes in and tells Danny that he can go home and offers him a ride. When they pull up to his house, Mona says she's happy to help and can't believe they've lived this way all these years. Danny looks at her funny and asks what she meant by that remark. Mona says she figured it out and Angie filled in the details and seemed glad to be honest. Mona tells Danny that he can be honist with her her too. Mona reveals that she thinks that Danny and his parents are in a goverment witness relocation program and which is the reason that they are using phoney names. Danny, confused of course, says that isn't the reason. He tells Mona that can't say anything because since 9/11 the Feds are really hardcore on any terrorist stuff and they'd throw Angie in jail if they knew she was alive and running. Mona asks what he means. A few minutes later, Danny walks in the door with a guilty look on his face and tells Angie that he screwed up and told Mona everything.
Angie goes to talk to Mona in the car. In a nervous tone, Angie tells Mona says that Danny is so angry at them which explains the wild story he just told her. She asks if they're good. Mona coldly replies by saying she hates her job at the hospital, dealing with crazy and sick people. Angie tells her to get a different job. Mona says that she must have a year's worth of living expenses before one can quit. Mona then shows her true colors when she looks right at Angie and tells her that she wants $67,000... in cash or she will go to the police with the information that Danny told her. Mona tells Angie if she pays up, then she would forget what Danny told her and they'd all be free.
Dylan comes to Katherine's room and she is not shockingly, surprised. Katherine starts to, calmly, come unglued as Dylan explains that Susan is Mike's wife. She spoke with Mike in jail and says that it's not right if he didn't do anything. She asks if Katherine stabbed herself. Katherine says she asked her not to come. Katherine claims Mike wanted her to do this. Susan enters and Katherine wonders why. Susan says she wants to help her. Katherine tries to run out claiming she needs to get to Mike and that everything is going to be wonderful. She's stopped by several staff members. Dylan freaks, Susan tells her eveything's going to be okay.
We're back to the morning when the Bicks got in the plane, complaining all the way.
The party is in full swing. Lynette tries to apologize but Gaby won't let her. Bree welcomes the assembled and the Jingle Bells begin to sing "Silent Night." Gaby yells at Lynette. Lynette yells back. They fight. Bree tries to block them and they end up pushing her off the podium. She recovers and says they're taking a quick break. She pulls Gaby and Lynette aside and fires them and tells them to work it out. Lynette apologizes but says losing her job has ruined her family. Gaby says boohoo, she only cares about her friends and Lynette is no longer one of them.
Meanwhile, Angie and Nick argue about trying to get the money for Mona. They have an emergency $10,000 and Angie offers to sell her engagement ring to get them a few thousand dollars more closer.
At the party Karl arrives. Bree tells him that Orson doesn't know and asks him to go. Orson shows up and thinks that Karl has swooped in as a divorce lawyer, he think it's tacky. Bree wants Karl to go before Orson figures it out. He kind of explains about the plane and goes to make a call.
Mrs. Bicks is calling mayday since Mr. Bicks is out of commission. Luckily she releases the banner. Someone tells her to look for a place to land. All she sees are neighborhoods.
Karl leaves the message to abort. Bree overhears him. He explains about the banner. He says he was trying to be discreet. She goes to tell Orson. Karl says he'll tell him. He pulls Orson into Santa's workshop. Orson is surprised and angry. He punches Karl in the nose. Twice. Karl explains and Orson decks him again.
Celia says 'hi' to Lynette, who offers to take her to see Santa. Gaby rushes over and says she'll do it.
Mona arrives outside the Bolen house and Angie gives her the ten grand and her wedding ring. Angie says it's the best she can do. Mona complains she already gave notice at the hospital already to quit her job and is angry that Angie killed someone and walked away scot free. Angie disagrees and shows Mona the burn scar on her lower back and says she will tell her the whole story....
Bree chats with Lee and then sees the ruckus in Santa's workshop and goes in to break it up. Lee notices the plane.
After Angie finishes telling her story, Mona tells Angie it sounds like a reasonable story and wonders why she doesn't just go to the police if someone is after her. Angie says that because of her past crime 18 years ago, someone died, and that she can't. But Mona is unmoved and says Angie has until tomorrow to pay up the rest of the blackmail money.
We arrive at the opening scene of Tom and Parker noticing the plane.
Angie pleads with Mona not to call the police, but Mona stands firm and threatens her. Angie looks over Mona's shoulder and takes off running when she sees the plane decending. The plane takes out Mona. (She drops the envelope with the ten grand.) The plane starts skidding toward the party. Everyone runs except Celia who is frozen with fear. Lynette swoops in and saves Celia. The plane hits Santa's workshop. Both Mr. and Mrs. Bicks are apparently killed.
Mary Alice returns to tell us that everyone was hoping that it would be the perfect Christmas. As everyone approaches the now grounded plane she says it will be a memorable one for those who survived and simply the last for those who didn't as we see a bloody hand hanging out of Santa's workshop.
