The "TGS Porn" subplot in this episode comes from the fact that a "porn version" of "30 Rock", called 30 Rock: A XXX Parody (2009), was released earlier in the same year. Lisa Ann, the actress who plays the Liz Lemon figure in that porn "30 Rock," was also in several other porn movies playing a pornographic version of 2008 Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin. "30 Rock" showrunner Tina Fey, who plays the real Liz Lemon, won a 2009 Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for parodying Palin on Saturday Night Live (1975). See more »

"Into the Crevasse" was another mostly hilarious ep of "30 Rock" for me
24 July 2011 | by (Baton Rouge, La.) – See all my reviews

In this ep of "30 Rock": Liz has a book out that makes everyone hate her, Jack faces his old nemesis-Devon Banks (Will Arnett)-at a congressional hearing, and Jenna and Tracy try to get even with Liz...This was another hilarious episode that had mostly great punchlines. I especially liked Tracy's subplot about making a porn version of Liz' life because of his reaction of his wife to Liz' book. And what about that final confrontation between Jack and Devon. Oh, and Kenneth is always a hoot whenever he's on screen, as usual. Okay, maybe Jack's "ideas" about improving his company lean on the lame side but, still, "Into the Crevasse" was for the most part, hilarious to me.
