Storyline

A wealthy businessman brings his teenage son, who is suffering from inexplicable stomach pains, to Princeton Plainsboro and insists on having Dr. House handle the case. The father of the patient believes the karmic penalty of his financial success is that he is victim to personal tragedy, and that the answer to his son's medical mystery lies in a reverse of fate rather than medical treatment. Meanwhile, Foreman and Chase prepare to present information on the Dibala case. Written by FOX Publicity

Quotes

Dr. Eric Foreman: The room will be filled not because of a coin flip, not because of the patient, but because House's Department screwed up. They're gonna be like sharks in a chum-filled swimming pool. And there's no way I'm jumping in unless I'm in a steel cage.
Dr. Robert Chase: So what do you want?
Dr. Eric Foreman: I want you to have everything covered.

Classic House
14 October 2009 | by (Nepal) – See all my reviews

The season started with unorthodox episodes and also the ending episodes of previous seasons were different from the classic House routine. Well this episode follows a classic House routine. A patient comes in, there is an initial diagnosis, it seems to make sense, the patient seems to get well, all of sudden the patient crashes and he is about to die in couple of days if House and his team doesn't figure out the correct diagnosis and when all hopes are gone House has an epiphany while he is talking to Wilson and he saves the patient proving once more that he is a genius. But the episode lacks House's sarcasm, him making fun of other people, his tussle with Cuddy. Also, he seems helpful and much more sane and under control.
