The Fabulous Freebirds (Michael Hayes & Jimmy Garvin) Vs The Southern Boys

The Freebirds win. Not a bad way to kick off the show at all. It was fast-paced throughout with a lot of exciting stuff, especially from The Southern Boys.

**1/2 out of 5

The Black Scorpion interrupts an interview with Sting. We only hear his voice, though.

'Flyin' Brian Pillman Vs Buddy Landel

Ugh. I just saw this match at The Great American Bash. Surprisingly enough, they put on a pretty good match! After the stinker they had at The Great American Bash, I'm not afraid to be proved wrong.

**3/4 out of 5

The Big Cat Vs Brad Armstrong

The Big Cat wins with the Torture Rack. The Big Cat is Curtis Hughes. Armstrong got in some brief offense, but this was mostly a glorified squash match.

* out of 5

The Z-Man Vs 'Prime Time' Brian Lee

Zenk wins with a dropkick from the top. This was a sloppy match. Lee got in some offense and looked pretty ugly in there. There isn't much else to say.

3/4* out of 5

Michael Wallstreet and Alexandra York are with Tony Schiavone. Michael Wallstreet admonishes Schiavone for calling him Mike Rotunda. He says he's legally changed his name to Michael Wallstreet.

The Star Blazer Vs Michael Wallstreet (W/Alexandra York)

Wallstreet wins with a Samoan Drop. I've always found Rotunda to be extremely boring in the ring. I tend to get distracted during his matches because I lose interest in them.

* out of 5

Sgt. Krueger & Col. Deklerk Vs Kalua & The Beast

Krueger & Deklerk win. I didn't give a rat's ass about this. I managed to be fair and give the match a chance. It ended up being mediocre.

*1/2 out of 5

The Big Cat interrupts an interview with Lex Luger, so Luger pops him with a right hand.

Lex Luger Vs The Motor City Madman

Luger wins with a clothesline. This was absolute trash. It's one of the sloppiest matches I've seen in some time. Luger had trouble lifting The Motor City Madman on a couple of occasions. It just looked really, really bad.

The Nasty Boys Vs The Renegade Warriors

The Steiner Brothers run in to cause the DQ by attacking The Nasty Boys. This was watchable, mainly due to JR's epic commentary. The match was crap.

3/4* out of 5

Sid Vicious Vs The Night Stalker

The Night Stalker is Bryan Clark (Adam Bomb, Wrath, etc.) Sid Vicious wins. The Night Stalker and The Big Cat attack Sid after the match. Yikes! This was horrible. Sid smartly played the babyface here. When the match starts off with a bearhug, you know you're in for a rough one.

1/4* out of 5

El Gigante & The Southern Boys get into a mini-scuffle with The Fabulous Freebirds.

The Steiner Brothers Vs Magnum Force

The Steiner's win easily. The Nasty Boys try a sneak attack on The Steiner's, but The Steiner's fight them off.

1/4* out of 5

Sting and The Black Scorpion have a face-off. Here is where the ridiculous starts. The Black Scorpion grabs a kid from the audience and makes him vanish. He's replaced with a tiger. The entire angle with The Black Scorpion was poorly mishandled.

Ric Flair (W/Arn Anderson) Vs Butch Reed (W/Ron Simmons & Teddy Long)

Flair wins with help from Arn Anderson. Flair made this fairly entertaining. The ending was a bit overbooked, but oh well. I'm not really sure this was main event material, though.

**1/2 out of 5

This Clash had too many meaningless matches on the card. It keeps your attention, but it really is a mediocre show.
