Storyline
The battle between the Lucian Alliance and the crew of the Destiny continues with the Lucians seeming to gain the upper hand. Camillle Wray takes charge of the negotiations after the failed military strategy and finds that Commander Kira is a very tough negotiator who will take every advantage available to her. They manage to negotiate at least a temporary truce when it's determined that a module on the exterior of the ship requires repair. Lt. Scott and Sgt. Greer make the journey but when the temporary truce on board the ship goes sour, they find themselves unable to return. Eli and Chloe meanwhile are still trapped in a remote part of the ship and it's left to Eli to find a solution to Scott and Greer's dilemma. Written by

Goofs
(Possibly deliberate by filmmakers) Throughout the first season, Rush refers to Lieutenant Scott as Lef-tenant (the proper British pronunciation). But suddenly toward the end of 1.20, he starts using the American pronunciation, loo-tenant.

I thought the ep was quite good for the 2nd in a 2 part...right up until the very end. Do so many series really have to so blatantly & artificially force/create a 'cliffhanger' at the end of every season ffs? 2 points taken off for that. Look at True Blood for a great example of how to wind up a (2nd) season & yet still leave the viewer aching for more.
Other than that...
The good: the time Eli & Chloe spend together, more Rhona in leather chaps & some of the tension/racing against time.
The bad: the aforementioned ending, minor plot holes & ongoing lack of comic relief, what made SG1 & Atlantis so great imo.
The show needs to drop its attempts to copy the 'realism' of BSG & find its own way/niche into the 2nd season. I, for one, have had enough sci-fi despair, darkness & hopelessness without any comic relief after BSG to last me a decade.
