Character error

Gerald Baxter asks John Porter 'Which winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature also played in the World Cup?' and Porter answers Albert Camus. Camus did play as a goalkeeper for a local team in Algeria until he was 17 (he contracted TB), but never at an international level.

Continuity

When Danni hands the results of Steve's autopsy to Layla, the listing of team members from the 'internal SAS inquiry into the Bratton extraction' can be seen as having "Sgt. H. Collinson" highlighted. According to the briefing on the eve of the fateful Basra mission (in Ep. 1), Collinson was a Captain back then.

During the final scenes John Porter is wearing not the belted jeans earlier but seems to have changed in more comfortable trousers.

Errors in geography

While John and Gerald are traversing on foot between Afghanistan and Pakistan, the sound effects include rattlesnakes. Unfortunately all species of rattlesnakes can only be found in the Americas, unless of course the storyline gets modified to make them the CIAs new secret weapon.
