Nominations for the Emmys were announced yesterday and that means it was time for Orphan Black fans to cry, “Why do we make jokes about the Golden Globes’ credibility when they at least had the good sense to notice Tatiana Maslany?” (Among many, many other snubs). The Hollywood Reporter‘s Tim Goodman argues that the Emmys should expand to include more nominees in each category to “reflect the magnitude of the industry.”

TVLine reports that while there’s no hope for the original How I Met Your Dad pilot, a series is still being developed and could see a new pilot being made with the original cast, a new cast or a mix.

Cinemax is officially slotting Strike Back‘s delayed fourth and final season for sometime in 2015, the cabler disclosed on Thursday at the Television Critics Assoc. summer press tour.

Typically the high-octane action-drama fires off its new episodes in August, but production on Season 4 was paused for six months when series star Sullivan Stapleton, who plays Sgt. Damien Scott, sustained a serious, injury off-set in February.

Stapleton needed the time to recuperate and return to the peak physical condition needed for the action- and stunt-heavy drama.

“Production … will be on hiatus to allow him time to recover,” the cabler said at the time in a statement. »

300: Rise Of An Empire Blu-Ray Review

2 July 2014 10:44 PM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

When I first heard that there was going to be another 300, my gut reaction was, “But they all died!” Dear viewer, don’t worry one second about that. After all, Warner Bros. wouldn’t have cobbled together 300: Rise of an Empire if the studio hadn’t been able to come up with a worthwhile reason to revisit those war-loving, glory-seizing Spartans and their magnificent six-pack abs… right? In all honesty, 300: Rise of an Empire was an inevitability after 300 left such a noticable imprint on the cinematic landscape, grossing over $450 million and producing the immortal “This is Sparta!” meme while also racking up some accolades and undoubtedly influencing filmmakers. Luckily, Noam Murro’s 300: Rise of an Empire isn’t just a worthy follow-up to the CGI-heavy bloodbath that was 300 – it actually surpasses its predecessor in one major regard.

Spoilers! The Walking Dead Set Photos With Daryl Dixon

They're reunited, and it feels so good. Actors, Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon) and Melissa McBride (Carol Pelletier) were recently spotted on the Atlanta set of The Walking Dead filming scenes for season five. At the end of season four Carol was with Rick's baby and Tyreese, while Daryl was stuck in a shipping container waiting to be eaten by cannibals at Terminus. They probably let Daryl go as I've heard white trash has the consistency of roadkill.   Click Here - More Walking Dead Set Pics Based on one of the most successful and popular comic books of all time, written by Robert Kirkman, AMC’s The Walking Dead captures the ongoing human drama following a zombie apocalypse. Review: '24: Live Another Day' - '8:00 Pm - 9:00 Pm'

1 July 2014 6:15 AM, PDT | Hitfix | See recent Hitfix news »

A review of last night's "24: Live Another Day" coming up just as soon as this is me being courteous... I suppose I have to give credit to the "Live Another Day" creative team for squeezing a half season's worth of plot twists into these last few episodes, as if they want to give us all the story beats of a traditional "24" year even though they have only 12 episodes to play with. So Adrian Cross is dispatched with quickly — probably for the best, since the whole "What if Julian Assange was really a supervillain?" twist was a lot less interesting than "Julian Assange and Jack Bauer reluctantly learn to work together" — and our old friend Cheng returns with a far more ambitious plan that could just kickstart World War III. And because it's a familiar "24" big bad, the show can get away with introducing him so quickly. We know what »
