Model T movers

The U.S.S. Appleby is returning to San Fransisco and the crew plans to throw a big party stateside. The company fund is dry, however, as the men are informed by Ensign O'Toole (Dean Jones). The ship lands in Noumea, New Caledonia for supplies. The men come across a lovely girl (Susan Silo) struggling to start her Model T. Her English is comically limited to "thank you for the chewing gum". In overseeing the repairs, Lt. Rex St. John (Jack Mullaney) ends up destroying the vehicle. Ensign O'Toole smooths it over with the girl's irate father (Émile Genest) and his brother, the chief of police (Alberto Morin) by telling them that they will sell the car for them in San Francisco, where it is a collector's item, and send them the money. Now the men must smuggle the car on board in pieces.
