In the scene where Zane is hooking Kim up for an SDS scan, there is a bank of number readouts in red lights behind him. One of them reads "HELP."
Tamlyn Tomita (aka, Kim Anderson copy) cut her teeth in Sci-Fi back in the 1990's on the original "Quantum Leap" (1989). She is a veteran actress who has been universally known as the sister Waverly in "The Joy Luck Club" (1993). She played the Asian-American reporter Tamlyn Matsuda who Sam (Scott Bakula) must prevent from being brutally murdered. Her character possessed psychic ability to sense Al (Sam's hologram partner) - without seeing him. The only of two who could do this during the complete series run. In short, Tamlyn Tomita was getting her Sci-Fi experience back before any of the Eureka regulars had back in 1992, but will be remembered for her work on "The Joy Luck Club."
Glynis Davies played the Toaster Oven Lady who gives Carter and Joe a hard time is a Sci-Fi veteran and likely had the best line any of the Sci-Fi veteran guests ever had.
Glynis Davies was on X-Files (1993 ,) Stargate SG-1 (1997,) the not so popular Stargate Universe (2009) and Jurassic World Dominion (2022,) had likely the best line ever as a Sci-Fi guest.
Her character waited as Carter sought out her Toaster Oven among many-many other toaster ovens stolen in the previous episode. Carter haphazardly hands her an oven to identify. Her character grins, turns walking away speaking in a moderately low tone, "This is Better than the one I had" - then vanishes.
