Trivia

Dean introduces himself and Sam as Agents Bonham and Copeland. Both are the last names of drummers. John Bonham was the drummer for Led Zeppelin. Stewart Copeland was the drummer for The Police. See more »

Goofs

Dean says the buyer had verified the VIN (serial number) of the car, but they had to verify the engine number to make sure it had belonged to James Dean. The VIN, which is permanently attached to the car would identify the car, but the engine could have been changed, so the engine number is not a reliable indicator. Additionally, unlike the VIN, engine numbers are not recorded by states, so Sam would not have been able to use it to find the original owner as was shown. See more »

Horror/Comedy at it's finest!
8 October 2009 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

My favorite genre within horror is comedy and horror mixed together, so I was very pleased with this episode! While we have had comedic episodes before, this one came in a campier, cheesier state. There were a lot of memorable scenes and lines, including the conversation in Spanish exchanged from Sam and a cleaning lady. Another example that i thought was clever was when Dean tells Paris Hilton that he has not seen House of Wax, and Sam makes a look (because Jared Padalecki was actually in that film with Hilton). There were many inside jokes in this episode, and I had a blast! We need episodes like these in a while, and this reminded me of great horror/comedies out there, like the recent Drag Me To Hell, and the underrated Jennifer's Body. GREAT EPISODE!
