In an early draft of the script, there was to be a a construction worker working on The Rollerdome who would eventually get decapitated. Later during Lily's chase scene, she would discover his decapitated head next to a dumpster. This was ultimately dropped due to the amount of unnecessary characters.

Originally, MTV came to Jacob Gentry with the idea and he thought it was a terrible idea, until he saw the show.

The Uncut version was shown on MTV on Halloween night in 2009 then released to iTunes the day after.

On Thanksgiving weekend, MTV aired a "What the WTF Edition" of the film that featured an on-screen behind the scenes look of the film and interviews from Julianna Guill, Lauren McKnight, and Chris Zylka. MTV hasn't shown this version of the film since.
