Just in case you wanted a color pic to go with your shot of John Cusack in "The Raven" from earlier today, he tweeted a creepy accompaniment that you may wish to check out.

Elsewhere, Miley Cyrus is still grabbing attention with that bong video from last week, and Seth MacFarlane suggested how she might have avoided being identified. And speaking of uncomfortable moments, an alternate "Yogi Bear" ending that you're not likely to see in theaters has been making the tweet rounds and was passed along by Paul Scheer to his followers today. You'll understand what I'm talking about down below, where you'll also find Jessica Alba sharing a special moment with MTV News' own Joshua Horowitz.

Whos Calling For Help in New Still From David Brooks Atm

11 November 2010 | Horror Asylum | See recent Horror Asylum news »

The guys over at Bloody Disgusting have just been sent a new teaser image for 'Atm'. The new thriller from writer Chris Sparling ('Buried') and director David Brooks is set primarily in an Atm vestibule. So it seems Sparling likes to work with confined spaces when telling his tales. 'She's Out of My League' Hottie Alice Eve (below) (who is also rumoured to be starring in the upcoming 'The Raven' alongside John Cusack) stars along with Josh Peck, Brian Geraghty ('When a Stranger Calls', 'The Hurt Locker'), Aaron Hughes, Shailee Ferguson and Will Woytowich. You can check out the new teaser image below which seems to indicate a certain dyslexia from one of the trapped characters. »

Weekend Movie News Wrap Up: October 17, 2010

17 October 2010 12:17 PM, PDT | ScreenRant.com | See recent Screen Rant news »

This week:

Jackass 3D hits the top spot at the box office while Bruce Willis sees Red; J.J. Abrams is Infinitely Polar Bear; Samuel L. Jackson heads Holmes with Hawkshaw; Joe Carnahan tackles Umbra; Catherine Hardwicke moves from Edward & Bella to Romeo & Juliet; Noomi Rapace sets sail on The Last Voyage of The Demeter; Luke Evans and Alice Eve join John Cusack in The Raven and there’s lots more.

After several weeks of serious adult-skewed films holding the top spot at the box office,  it looked like audiences wanted to let loose and relax by watching grown men getting hit in the crotch with the full 3D experience. This thirst for pain is the reason that the number one position was filled by Jackass 3D (read our review here). The $20 million budgeted comedy brought in a stellar $49.5 million, easily capturing the number one spot.

‘Dragon Tattoo’ thesp Noomi Rapace to sleuth in ‘Sherlock Holmes 2′

11 September 2010 1:20 PM, PDT | Hollywoodnews.com | See recent Hollywoodnews.com news »

HollywoodNews.com: While Hollywood took its time deciding who should play the role of Lisbeth Salander in “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo,” a role perfected by Noomi Rapace, the Swedish actress has wasted no time in choosing her stateside roles.

Word comes from Heat Vision, Collider and a number of other sites that Rapace will make her English-language debut in “Sherlock Holmes 2.” Rapace will play a French Gypsy and beyond that, the entire plot is being kept secret by Warner Bros.

Collider reports: “It is known that Holmes’ arch nemesis, Moriarty, will have a presence, with Daniel Day-Lewis, Sean Penn, Javier Bardem, and Gary Oldman rumored for the role. Sherlock’s brother Mycroft will likewise make an appearance.” Also Rachel McAdams is suppose to make a cameo as Sherlock’s old flame Irene Adler.

Noomi Rapace Will Make Her English-Language Debut as the Female Lead in Sherlock Holmes 2

11 September 2010 10:36 AM, PDT | Collider.com | See recent Collider.com news »

We have been reporting for a couple weeks now on The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo star Noomi Rapace’s entry into Hollywood.  She’s taken quite a few meetings, for such projects as the Mission: Impossible reboot, James McTiegue’s period thriller The Raven, a “juicy villain role” in McG’s This Means War.  And while Jeremy Renner alleged Rapace would be his co-star in Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters (should he sign on), the Swedish actress has chosen the vehicle for her English-language debut: Sherlock Holmes 2.  Details after the jump.

Heat Vision reports that Rapace has landed the female lead in the  Sherlock sequel, rumored to be a French Gypsy.  The plot, like the nature of Rapace’s role, is at this time a Warner Bros. secret.  It is known that Holmes’ archnemesis, Moriarty, will have a presence, with Daniel Day-Lewis, Sean Penn, Javier Bardem, and Gary Oldman rumored for the role. »

Rumor Has It! Fox Has 3 Directors In Mind for the Fantastic Four Reboot and Wants Bruce Willis To Voice The Thing

30 August 2010 5:00 PM, PDT | ScifiMafia | See recent ScifiMafia news »

Earlier today, we brought you a report about 20th Century Fox reportedly sending out an offer to Stephen Moyer (True Blood) to join the cast of the Fantastic Four reboot as the villainous Latverian, Doctor ‘Victor’ Von Doom in the film.

Now, Cbm says that 20th Century Fox is considering directors Joe Carnahan (The A-Team), James McTeigue (V for Vendetta,The Raven) and David Yates (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) to helm their reboot of Fantastic Four, and they also report that Fox has their sights set on Bruce Willis (Red, Kane & Lynch) to voice the entirely CG version of the quartet’s ever-lovin’ blue-eyed Thing.

[The Shakedown]

While this is obviously a rumor until confirmed by the studio, there is one thing that makes me doubt the claim about Bruce Willis voicing The Thing. Why would the studio pay “Bruce Willis Money” for him to join a cast and have »

Fox’s planned reboot of the Fantastic Four franchise really does seem to be gathering pace, with rumours about a likely list of directors now following on the heels of possible casting choices. So who is being considered? Try Joe Carnahan, David Yates and James McTeigue.Comic Book Movie reports on the directors, and while we’re sure Fox is pondering just about every available director around, the three choices are all fairly different.Yates, of course, has filled his last few years with charting the end of Harry Potter’s run at the cinema. While he’s currently busy putting the finishing touches to the second part of Deathly Hallows, he’s got effects experience and knows how to balance the right sort of tone.Carnahan, meanwhile, has, since Narc usually stuck to crazier action fare, though The A-Team represented a slightly softer side among the madness. And then there’s McTeigue, »

Dragon Tattoo star Noomi Rapace rejects Hollywood cliches

28 August 2010 10:47 AM, PDT | The Geek Files | See recent The Geek Files news »

Noomi Rapace, the 30-year-old star of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and its two sequels in the Millennium trilogy, says she has yet to be seduced by a single screenplay offered to her by Hollywood.

She told The Times magazine: "I read ten scripts a week and I've seen so many of them before. The characters are clichés and you know how it's going to end.

"It would be nice to make a movie with a lot of money behind it, but I'm not going to do My Best Friend's Wedding 2."

Rapace - who could now be nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for Dragon Tattoo and has already won the Swedish equivalent - has become hot property since appearing in the films and has been in the USA meeting various directors, producers and studio executives.
