Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • There are no clear-cut nude scenes in this movie, except for one part whereGemma Arterton's buttocks can be seen when she's lying on a bed.
    • There's a scene whereby Gemma Arterton lifts her skirt, and removes her underwear to have sex. We can see her lover thrusting, but this scene only lasts for a few seconds.
    • Gemma Arterton wears a very short shorts/pants that is very revealing. As the camera comes from behind and shows her walking, her butt cheeks can be seen a little bit.
    • Arterton has sex with a young guy, and lots of moaning can be heard although the sex scene is NOT shown.
    • Arterton has sex with an old guy a couple of times, and after its over, she is actually nude but the bed sheets cover her, so we can't see anything. Although on one occasion, after they've had sex, while the two of them are lying on the bed and talking to one another, her nipple is visible if you look hard enough.

Violence & Gore

    • A man kills geese , although the killings aren't shown. He even explains to a friend on how he kills them, but then again, the killings AREN'T shown.
  • A flock of cows run over a man who seems to be semi-conscious. Again, it's just implied that the cows run over him, because as soon as the cows come nearer to the man, the camera turns away. When his wife comes down to look for him, we can see that the man has suffered a broken jaw, with a bit of blood flow. A little gory for the feint-hearted.
  • Shortly afterwards, a dog is shot to death for frightening a group of cows. Later on, it is made to appear as if two people were grieving for the dead man, when they are actually grieving for the dog and showing absolutely no regrets for the man. This is intended (presumably) to be funny.
    • Before the above mentioned scene, two men would be in a fight. Just a bit of pushing and shoving, and a headbutt.
    • An angered woman slaps Arterton's nose, causing it to bleed.

Profanity

  • Arterton pronounces a man's name as 'Nicol-Arse'. (Supposed to be just Nicolas)

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

    • A 15 year old smokes cigarettes.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There is one scene where by the 15 year olds throw eggs at the window of a driven car. Not frightening or intense, but just sudden.
