Valerie's grandmother made the cloak for her. It is shown several times in the movie to be only ankle length on her. But in many of the scenes it is shown to be about 30 feet long, way too long to be of any practical use. This could be interpreted as an intended difference in length since the 30 feet long cloak only appears in scenes in which Valerie is dreaming of running away with Peter. See more »
Romantic Horror? Romantic comedies are bad enough. Stay away!
If you like horror films, stay away from this one. I prefer my horror films, well....horrific, not romantic. You've heard of romantic comedies? Well, this is a romantic horror film!
I can see how thirteen year old girls might like this film. It's basically attempting to disguise itself as a horror film, but rather comes off more like an entry in the Twilight series, except not as good. It has all the same character types as Twilight, but is boring beyond belief.
True horror fans...do yourself a favor and stay away. Don't waste your time on this one! There are hundreds of better horror films you'd be better off seeing.
