Goofs

Surprise at finding him after opening the front door, after the house had taken off. Carl ask Russell how he got on the porch, Russell said, he had chase the "Snipe" under the porch. But as the house goes up we see the front, including the porch, and bottom of the house. Other following scene like passing the window cleaner, the reverse reflection from the window, and shots with the birds showing the bottom of the house as well as the porch does not appear to have Russell in it. I believe that this to be a continuity error. See more »

Up is an Upper!

What a wonderful, touching, beautiful and fun film..if you ever feel down in the dumps this little gem will lift your spirits and set you right again.

After some dismal items with other so-called animated films with Jr.High School toilet humor this production is A++ and is intelligently crafted and cast with Ed Asner,Christopher Plummer and John Robert Thompson supplying the magic of their voices and the great Pixar troupe that would make Uncle Walt smile with approval.

This is a high water mark for others who wish to entertain with a well rounded and moving story that will take you on twists and turns and put the perennial "lump in the throat" and a smile in your heart. Walk into the story not knowing a thing like I did and you will be amply rewarded. Check out the short subjects, too
