Quotes

Russell Edgington: As always the deposit will go to your trust account.
Franklin Mott: I want cash.
Russell Edgington: The last time you had any real money, you ended up at the slots in Biloxi, slaughtering a church group of elderly women.
Franklin Mott: They wouldn't let me have a turn!
Russell Edgington: Why are you dragging another girl around? So sloppy! I'm tired of cleaning up after you!
Franklin Mott: This one is spectacularly different.
Russell Edgington: [considering] Hmm.
Franklin Mott: She's a disaster! We could be twins. The attraction is eeeelectric.
Russell Edgington: Franklin, you're a huge freak, but I like your work.

The worst TB episode to date

Franklin brings Tara to Russell's, where she's shocked to see Bill walk in with Lorena and Russell, all bloody-mouthed. Then Eric arrives...and HE'S surprised to see Bill there as well. They all talk about what to do about the magister. Russel: "The magister...is a....nasty little anachronistic toad...a ridiculous remnant of the middle ages..." Jason shows up at the sheriff's office for his first day at work. Kenya is not pleased. Terry moves in with Arlene right next door to where Sam is moving his birth parents and brother.

Sookie pushes Alcide's buttons so she can find Beeeel. Zzzzzzzzzzzzz. Jason continues to suffer from the delusion that he's a policeman. Jesus asks Lafayette out. Jason sees Crystal drive by and while banjos are playing in the background he hops in a police car and follows her. (I'm thinking...the banjos are appropriate...because Jason would fit in perfectly with Jethro Bodine/Beverly Hillbillies. Or the Dukes of Hazard.) But it gets worse...

Franklin crying like a baby because Tara tried to escape? What is WITH these vampires? Where did they find them...Baby Vamps 'R Us? Enough already. Nobody really wants to see these ridiculous soap opera vampires! What part of that does Alan Ball not understand? This series is heading south faster than Hoyt's mama's tits.

Jason & Crystal bond. Bill escapes to go find his Soo-keh. Franklin proposes to Tara -- for eternity. (With these teeth...I thee wed...) Eric recognizes a Viking crown among Russel's collection. Then Eric's past is revealed. His father was a Viking King who was killed by werewolves involved in that Operation Werewolf group.

Meanwhile Bill finds Sookie at Alcide's. He tells her she must leave, but then Russell and some of his boys arrive, and when Cooter attempts to grab Sookie she's able to do that thing where light radiates from her hand and Cooter is repelled. Russel takes great delight in that. Good for him. At least someone took delight in this episode. Because I certainly did not. This was by far the worst, most boring True Blood ever.
