Passable girl/girl action, but disappointing storytelling
I see Dan O'Connell credited in IMDb with directing this 15th volume of the Thornhill Diaries series, better known in its main title of the second volume of Girlfriends Films' women's softball series. I own over 800 Girlfriends releases and it's a fact that he's never received a screen credit in the label's history, whether out of shyness or more likely shame at slaving in the porn industry. I will add "uncredited" to his listing, as usual.
In any event, this is merely an excuse for Sapphic sex scenes with little to no advancement of a storyline or history of the Thornhill female population. Dana DeArmond gives deadpan, rather listless line reading in her familiar guise as a dom, preying on younger girls, while a general air of younger/older action previals.
Highly repetitious is a vignette format in which a University of Thornhill administrator, faculty member or simply alumna interviews a prospective student, extolling the virtues of the institution. Mention is generally made of the lesbian culture on campus, but these high schoolers are anxious to matriculate, and prove their abilities to enjoy girl/girl action.
For big-bust fans, and a large segment of the Girlfriends family falls into that category, there is the match-up of stripper-sized June Summers and a busty young thing name of Leah Livingston. It's presented as a mother-daughter incest (step-mom of course) with Dana hanging around as voyeuse.
Dana's big scene is shared with gonzo expert Bobbi Starr, as both of them don strap-ons to deflower a couple of naive applicants Stephanie Page and Hayden Night.
Instead of a real screenplay and some action (as in a mainstream movie's concept of action, not just sex), this is little more than all-sex and innuendo running over 3 hours long. The softball concept seems completely extraneous, as the ostensible dialog and story merely involves getting into college. In light of today's big college admissions scandal, this substitutes sex for money in terms of corrupting the system.
