A legit-weapons dealer has 3 sons. Shiva is one of them who is subdued by his brothers. He rescues his kidnapped brother only to find himself shot by them. Then he uncovers the mystery of his father's death and takes revenge.
This movie Asal is all about Ajith, his stylish outfits and his cool attitude. Story is not so impressive but Ajith really impresses us with his silent yet powerful show. Its not new to Tamil cinema for having such storyline and could have been more better when it comes to music. Ajith has finally set a benchmark to his colleagues by not using any special tag-line as "Ultimate star", need extra applause for such a brilliant initiative. The screenplay is really good at times and adds more thrills and suspense to the content. Cinematography is top notch and so does stunt choreography. To wrap up Asal is worth watch and a real entertainer.
