Alicia finds herself defending Kenny Chatham after he shows up at her office asking for help. Even he doesn't realize how serious it is until the police arrest him for felony murder. When their escapade is interrupted by a security guard, he runs off but when the guard is found dead, the friend claims Kenny killed him. Given her emotional involvement in the case, Alicia suggests that someone else be appointed as first chair. She's a bit surprised when the partners assign Cary to the job.
