Nothing resolved with these unstable people, 18 December 2012
Author: bkoganbing from Buffalo, New York

Unstable is one accurate word for this SVU episode because looking at this cast of characters guesting here, just who is the unstable one?

While working another case a narcotics cop Wentworth Miller stumbles across a victim of a rape or more accurately Jennifer Ferrin runs across his crime scene in a disheveled state. He's got the people skills of Scrooge and and I'm betting she's not wrapped too tight when she's not a victim. But she bonds with him so much so that Dann Florek has to get him reassigned temporarily to SVU so Benson and Stabler can wrap the case. Miller has other issues as well, the scope of which we don't learn until the end.

Then there's Christine Lahti the ADA who brazens into the squad with an attitude and a half. She and Christopher Meloni have hate at first sight. All her issues come out in subsequent episodes.

Finally there's Mereshaz Ali who is arrested for the crime and when they finally get him to confess he turns out to be one very screwed up individual. And it turns out he's a serial rapist who Meloni years back may have put the wrong man in jail for his crimes.

One thing with this SVU episode it all isn't resolved neatly at the end by any means.
