In this vignette, we see once again that Alice has the upper hand, but Ralph's tirades are very hurtful. There's a scene where he walks out the door and she is reduced to tears. She has hurt him too by belittling his work. These little pieces are quite intense for a six minute bit. It's interesting how this woman seems a more natural adversary than Audrey Meadows was later.
