Mmmm, like tapioca pudding..., 6 May 2010

In the follow up episode to the pilot Happy Town delivers. There's a
fair amount of character development, as there should be, and the story
moves it self along. Some may argue that the story doesn't move along
fast enough, but it seems to be a series that will keep at a steady
pace, leaving us with many questions and anticipation walking into the
There's a couple revelations, but what makes this show so great in its early stages is the undertones and subtleties. You gotta give the actors great respect for selling these moments of "whats really going on?" Happy Town's fuse is officially lit, and i have a very strong feeling its gonna blow us all away by the time its all said and done.

Better than the first, 7 May 2010

I just finished watching this episode, and I enjoyed it! I like it better than the first. Here are some of my thoughts.. -That Henley/Chloe girl is either one helluva key maker, or that lady who owns the house is one slow sock changer! -I guess I'm assuming that Mr. Tapioca is the magic man? I thought that whole scene in the hospital with Georgia was pretty strange.. -I definitely wasn't expecting pizza man to be the killer. And it's funny that he lives with his mom. I laughed when she yelled down the stairs asking if Tommy was going to stay for dinner! -It's not very smart of Sheriff Tommy to cover for pizza man. He'll probably get into some trouble for that. -Georgia's secret boyfriend has got some anger issues. Hopefully he doesn't actually kill Georgia's dad. She probably should have tried to explain a little better rather than let him run off in an angry rage. -That restricted room upstairs was strange. I have a feeling those birds might be some sort of alarm system? They were pretty loud when Henley walked in. And what was that hammer looking thing? -Who is Henley/Chloe calling? She obviously knows a lot more than she puts off. -And finally, I liked the ending, it'll definitely keep me tuned in next week!
