Did You Know?

In the last episode of season 5 the bride (which we learn in this episode to be Susan) is wearing a thick veil to prevent the viewer from seeing who Mike is marrying. In this episode the same scene was re-shot and the veil was now instead sheer enough to reveal that Susan was the bride. See more »

New Neighbors At Wisteria Lane
3 August 2014 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

The sixth season of Desperate Housewives provides the viewers a promising start.

The bride of Mike Delfino is finally revealed. It is going to be Susan, who happens to have made no contact with Mike's ex,Katherine as she intends to pour tomato sauce on her gown at the time of her wedding if Mike's new bride won't apologize in public. At the time of her wedding,Susan apologized but it did nothing to comfort Katherine at all as it did not renew their friendship. As for Lynette, she tries to cope with her new pregnancy, and develops some unexpected and horrifying feelings towards her unborn babies. Meanwhile,Bree begins a reluctant affair with Karl Mayer. As for Gabrielle, she is upset with her teen-age daughter,Ana,who happens to poor attitude, provocative wardrobe, and disregard for her curfew or other rules. But upon realizing that they are similar with one another as Ana aspires to be a model,it somehow eases the tension. Finally,a new neighbor moves into Wisteria Lane. They happen to be Angie and Nick Bolen, together with their college-bound son, Danny.

The new season has a great beginning. The new neighbors at Wisteria Lane will definitely spark interest to the viewers.Who are the Bolens? Is Ana going to be as interesting as Nicollete Sheridan character,Edith? As for the events that have happened with the main characters,I like the story lines of Bree and Gabrielle.I find it amusing as both have interesting relationships as Bree and Karl start a love affair while Orson wants Bree back.As for Gabrielle,I felt that being a mother will be a challenge for her now that Ana is a teen-ager.As for Susan marrying Mike for the second time and Lynette being pregnant,I felt that that was somewhat a recycled plot element but it provides us interesting premises. We get to see how the new married couple handle their marriage the second time around. As for Lynette,I am wondering whether is she going to seriously consider abortion?
