I don't know if I can say this enough, but Maxine Roby is owning this CSI reboot. Not only is she a strong forensic scientist but she is also a badass leader. Her backstory is hinted at, and I need more. An interesting main case and a deepening back story on Hodges.

Good Cases, Both New and Continuing

First of all, we have a multiple murder on a cargo ship that lands itself. How is this possible? Three men are dead, slaughtered. Of course, the Hodges case continues. Sara and Gil have a serious suspect who had the skills to frame the former deep investigator and destroy the convictions of numerous horrible felons. They are also working under the gun because the internal affairs agent is on their case and has already jumped to conclusions.

Acting or reading lines

Loved the original show, but with the combination of the new actors and new writers the stories have holes and gaps and the actors couldn't pull off a perfect script if the were given one.
