"The Camera's Eye" was shot in a four story mansion in Paterson, New Jersey. Unknown to the producers at the time, the home's original owner, Mr. Charles P. Cole, vice president of the Standard Silk Dying Company, built the house in 1918 and hanged himself on the property after the stock market crashed in 1929. See more
