Announcing the 2010 Emmy Winners!

29 August 2010 9:10 PM, PDT | BuzzSugar | See recent BuzzSugar news »

This year's Emmys have come to a close, and I'm still surprised by some of the unexpected winners. The voters gave lots of love to new shows with Modern Family winning the big award for outstanding comedy series (and a win for Eric Stonestreet!). It was also a night for repeat honorees with the cast of Mad Men and Bryan Cranston both taking the stage for a third time. Jimmy Fallon kicked things off with a fun musical number (watch it again here), and the night had several laugh-out-loud moments (George Clooney's Modern Family video cameo was a personal fave). I was in the press room throughout the night, so don't forget to check out what the stars had to say about winning, along with our Emmys coverage from across the Sugar network. Then stop by later as I recap all of the major highlights right here on Buzz. »

Emmys: 'The Pacific,' Betty White and 'Modern Family' score Creative Arts Emmys

21 August 2010 5:23 PM, PDT | Zap2It - From Inside the Box | See recent Zap2It - From Inside the Box news »

Will "The Pacific" sweep the technical awards or will the miniseries share some of the love with its sister HBO program, the moving biopic "Temple Grandin," starring Claire Danes?

It's Saturday, Aug. 21 and time for the Creative Arts Emmys, held a week and a day before the Primetime Emmy Awards telecast. It's the awards event that honors the people behind the scenes who deserve recognition, but apparently didn't make the cut to be on the already overflowing live event.

The winners:

Best Casting of a Drama Series: "Mad Men"

Best Casting of a Movie/Mini: "The Pacific"

Best Casting of a Comedy Series: "Modern Family"

Best Prosthetic Makeup for Series, Movie or Mini: "The Pacific"

Announcing the 2010 Primetime Emmy Awards Nominees!

8 July 2010 6:44 AM, PDT | BuzzSugar | See recent BuzzSugar news »

Joel McHale and Sofia Vergara were up bright and early this morning to give us our annual exciting Emmy announcements! Vergara's accent provided plenty of giggle fodder (particularly for Joel), but she had the last laugh - Vergara scored a nomination, along with a whole slew of her Modern Family costars. Community was sadly snubbed, but I did score a few choice nominations from my wish list, including a much-deserved nod for Matthew Fox for Lost and a lot of love for Glee. Before I give away too much, let me just say this - Friday Night Lights fans, I think you'll be happy. To see the list, just read more. Outstanding Comedy Series Glee Modern Family Nurse Jackie Curb Your Enthusiasm The Office Glee 30 Rock Outstanding Drama Series Breaking Bad Damages Lost True Blood Dexter Mad Men The Good Wife Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series Larry David, »
