Storyline

In the aftermath of the Devil rising, Sam and Dean are whisked away and they are given a message from Chuck Shurley that Castiel is dead and that Luficer walks the Earth. As a result, Sam and Dean turn to Bobby for help to find a mystical weapon, called Michael's Sword. This will enable them to find the Devil before he takes on a new form to bring the slow end of the world. But the Winchester brothers are pitted against the archangel Zachariah who has plans for Dean, as well as more demons. Sam and Dean recognise a demon, Meg, who has returned from Hell. Goofs

When Zachariah is torturing Dean in order to get him to agree to allow Michael to enter him as his vessel, Dean's bottom lip becomes bloody after he gets stomach cancer. A few moments later, the blood is gone in the close up as Zacharias grabs Dean by the chin, only to reappear in the following wider shot. See more »

Quotes

Dean Winchester: [angrily] You listen to me, you two-faced douche. After what you did, I don't want jack-squat from you!
Zachariah: You listen to *me*, boy. You think you can rebel against us? As Lucifer did?
[looks down, sees blood dripping from Dean's hand]
Zachariah: You're bleeding...
Dean Winchester: [looks down] Oh yeah. A little insurance policy in case you dicks showed up.
[whips the sliding door out, revealing the angel-banishing sigil]
Zachariah: [lurching forward] No...!
[Dean slams his palm onto the sigil; the angels vanish in a flash of light]
Dean Winchester: [...]

Hey! Some props to Becky, please!
26 May 2013 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I agree with most of the other 4 reviews, especially that Mark Pellegrino did get the funniest line when he was speaking to Satan in the form of his dead wife (see other review), and yes it was smart the way he was introduced. And the "new" Meg did speak oddly, which I guess was an acting choice (but a poor one).

However, none of the 4 reviews before this one mentioned the always excellent Emily Perkins as Sam-crazed Becky. Come on, Supernatural fans, Emily Perkins is a hoot every time she shows up! She might not have had as much screen time as in the other two episodes she was in, but she made the most of her time.

The initial scene on computer screens with Chuck was cute, but the best was when she met Sam and kept touching his chest. (Sam: "Becky, could you please stop touching me?" Becky: "No." :-) ) Emily Perkins is in my opinion a much-underused actress. Ever since her days as teen hooker Sue on the best police drama ever, DaVinci's Inquest, she has been a great favourite of mine. And no, I don't know her nor am I related to her! LOL But seriously, she brings a lot to Becky and to every role she takes on. I hope we see more of her on Supernatural and elsewhere.

All in all, this was a very good ep. B+, at least.
