Storyline

In the aftermath of the Devil rising, Sam and Dean are whisked away and they are given a message from Chuck Shurley that Castiel is dead and that Luficer walks the Earth. As a result, Sam and Dean turn to Bobby for help to find a mystical weapon, called Michael's Sword. This will enable them to find the Devil before he takes on a new form to bring the slow end of the world. But the Winchester brothers are pitted against the archangel Zachariah who has plans for Dean, as well as more demons. Sam and Dean recognise a demon, Meg, who has returned from Hell. Goofs

Bobby being possessed by a demon? P-lease. He has been a hunter way longer than Sam and Dean. He was the one that gave the boys the charms that protect against demon possession in "Born Under a Bad Sign" (S2 Ep14). And we are to believe that he neither wears a charm nor has a protective tattoo? Sorry, but that's too much of a stretch. See more »

Quotes

Sam Winchester: [Stumbles back] Geez! Ow!
Chuck Shurley: Sam?
Sam Winchester: Yeah.
Dean Winchester: Hey Chuck.
Chuck Shurley: So... you're okay?
Sam Winchester: Well, my head hurts.
Chuck Shurley: No, I mean, I mean, my last vision... you went, like, full-on vadar. Your body temperature was 150. Your heart rate was 200. Your eyes were black.
Dean Winchester: Your eyes were black?
Sam Winchester: I didn't know.
Dean Winchester: Where's Cass?

Wow !!!
11 September 2009 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

When I watched the last episode of season 4 I though the show might have finally gone to far but it hasn't and if anything its only gotten better. I think this season is going to be one of the best the episode keeps you guessing and not only that allows you to really understand things much better. With Carver "Chuck" Edlund as the prophet returning as the voice of god with his Sam and Dean stories. I can see this season is going to be interesting with him disobeying the angels and attempting to help Sam and Dean fight the Demons. The only thing that might fall apart is that Sam is going to have to do a lot of work to regain the trust he lost at the end of season 4.
