It's okay

I just saw this at the Austin Film Festival. It's entertaining and I like the style of the film, but the lead was terrible. He is wooden throughout the film. There's no reason that they couldn't find someone better for that role. I did like the use of TV actors. They all added something to the film. I do, however, think that Minka Kelly was underused. There wasn't anything challenging about her role and I know that she has range. The plot twists at the end brought it all together, but that's about it. Overall, I would not describe this film as memorable, but it is watchable. Had the producers hired a name for lead, this film would be deserving of a small theatrical release. As is, it should go straight to DVD.
