Sex & Nudity

A man has sex with a woman who is bent over a table: we see a portion of her bare breasts as the man continues to thrust and three older men watch when the man gives them a thumbs up and continues to have sex with the woman. A man opens a door, we see another man on top of a topless woman (her bare breasts are visible) and sex is implied.

A man asks a woman if she would like to kiss, and the man and the woman kiss passionately until the woman pulls away. We see a man and a woman kissing passionately. Two women and a man kiss, the man pulls away and watches the two women kiss passionately. Several people watch as two young men kiss, and one man lifts the other and spins him around. A man and a woman lie side by side in bed, fully clothed, holding hands.

Two men wearing underwear and jock straps crudely thrust against a man's hockey goalie helmet as they make crude remarks about the man's mother's genitals and having sex with her (we see pictures taped to the helmet and they are presumably the helmet owner's mother).

Two men tell several other men to write on a passed-out man's genitals, they make crude remarks about the two men being gay because they want to write on a man's genitals and a third man offers to sign a man's genitals after two men tell him that he has female genitals.

A man wearing nothing but brief-style underwear asks another man if he had ever masturbated while high on drugs; the man then puts on a robe and walks away, implying that he's is going to masturbate.

A woman tells a man that she is "horny a lot" and then crudely says that she is sexually promiscuous. A woman tells a man that he makes her want to "stop sleeping with a bunch of guys." A man makes a crude remark about a man possibly giving a group of single mothers "herpes." While announcing a hockey game a man tells the crowd that he is going to "make love" to his wife. A man tells another man that he had been invited to watch his cousin perform in a strip club; he remarks half-jokingly that it might seem odd since they are "family" although he would be attracted to the idea. A man shouts a crude sexual response to several men about homosexual pornography and two men chant the same phrase in response. A man makes a crude sexual joke to another man about being interested in him, sexually. A man makes a series of crude sexual gestures toward another man as a joke. A man crudely tells another man that a person, as a joke, had offered him "50" male genitals to perform oral sex. A man makes a crank call to a television show, making a crude joke about a man preferring performing sex on male genitals.

We see a man lying in bed, shirtless and his bare chest is visible.

There is also very crude sexual references throughout the film, especially by Ryan. Every line that comes out of his mouth bar a few, are full of vulgar terms.

Violence & Gore

Two men circle one another on ice, they violently punch one another, they wrestle as they repeatedly punch one another (we hear the punching sound and see their heads bounce back from repeated impact), one man hits the ice and slowly gets back to his feet as the fight continues (one man's nose and mouth are bleeding and the other man's nose is running blood), one of the men drops to the ice and we hear the crunch of bone (it is implied that the man broke his ankle), he gets back on his feet and the two men continue to fight, throwing punches and we see blood spray from their wounds as the man with the broken ankle punches the other man so hard that he falls to the ground, unconscious; the man with the broken ankle screams in pain and the fallen man spits a spray of blood from his mouth (we see a tooth hit the ice as he struggles to stand).

We watch a montage of a man fighting other men during hockey games: we see a man punching another man repeatedly and knocking him to the ground, he punches another man until he slides to the ice and he punches another man in the nose (blood pours from his nose). A man punches another man multiple times and we see blood smear on the glass of the hockey rink (in front of a girl, who looks impressed). During a hockey game a man punches another man, knocking him to the ground and several other men rush to the knocked-out man's rescue while the punching man continues to fight, knocking eight men to the ground, including hitting one man with a hockey stick on his shoulders and neck. A man slams another man against the ice in a hockey game, the coach sends a second man in to attack the man and blood sprays onto one man's face as the other repeatedly slams his fists into his face. A man punches another man once, we hear a crunching sound and the man being punched repeatedly punches the other man (who is wearing a hockey mask); he continues to punch the man, blood spurts from a wound on the man's forehead and with the final blow the man is knocked to the ground, sliding backwards down a series of bleachers and his face appears swollen.

Throughout the movie we see many fights during hockey games amongst players, including the following: A man punches and throws his body against another man (we see the man hit the ground and hear an older man narrate that the man had received a third-degree concussion and was lucky to be alive); two men run into one another, one of the men takes a swing, knocking the other man to the ground; all members of two hockey teams are seen punching one another, three men are engaged in a fight and another man is knocked to the ground by a man as a crowd watches and cheers; a man checks into another man, knocking him to the ground, and he moans in pain; a man punches another man repeatedly in the face as he intently stares at another man's face; a man throws another man from the hockey rink over the wall and the men inside the box shoves the other man to the ground; and two teams of hockey players are seen attacking one another in the background.

A man is hit in the mouth by a fast-moving hockey puck, he spits out a tooth and we see blood pour from his mouth and nose; two other men hit the man repeatedly with hockey sticks in the face, one man stomps on the man's ankle with an ice skate and the injured man is slowly skated off the ice. A man kneels in front of another man, allowing the man to repeatedly punch him in the face; we later see the man with his face swollen and his lip split and bloody. We see footage of a man starting numerous fights during a hockey game as people cheer. A man punches another man, knocking him to the ice, unconscious (no blood is visible). A man punches another man in the nose, holding him against a wall while another man watches and gives the man punching the other man a "thumbs down," implying to punch the man again; we see the injured man hold his nose. A hockey player punches another hockey player and the two men punch each other as the camera cuts away. Two hockey players try to shove one another as one of the men approaches the hockey net. A man checks into two men as they skate in a hockey game.

A man watches footage of a man knocking another man in the head with a hockey stick. We see footage of a man slamming into another man and he appears unconscious on the ground; we hear a sportscaster remark that the assaulter is lucky that he had not killed the other player and we later see this same clip multiple times as people remark that the injury caused by the impact had sent the assailant to the minor leagues. A woman watches television footage of two hockey players punching each other violently until they are pulled apart (we see one of the men with a split lip and a small amount of blood is visible on his mouth). We see a group of people in a bar watch television footage of a hockey game and we see a man get hit in the head with a hockey stick. A man slaps another man and the man warns the other man that he is lucky he is not going to punch him because he is on his team.

As part of the opener we see drops of blood hit ice, followed by what appears to be a human tooth. A man punches a wall repeatedly, grunting. A man angrily throws a chair against a wall. A man is hit in the face with a piece of garbage and a woman watches in pity.

A man joyfully tells a man and a woman that their adult son had punched out the teeth of three men. A man tells a woman that he had been hit in the face with bloody rags and was so disoriented that he fell into a bin of medical waste, including a bag of urine that burst as he rolled onto it. A man warns another man that he will "lay him out" if they were ever to fight.

We see two men urinating into a hole in the back of a bus, and we later see a man relegated to sitting next to the crudely named hole and urine is seen splashed on the ground. Two men spit-fight at each other, including one man spitting mucus at another man's face. On multiple occasions we see men spitting chewing tobacco. A man spits a spray of beer on another man when he laughs and the spray hits the man's face.

We see countless people with the first finger of a foamy hand ripped off, to reveal an obscene hand gesture. People use obscene hand gestures in a crowd, directed at a man who flashes a rude hand gesture back towards the crowd.

The violence in this film is extremely brutal for a comedy and features blood on many occasions, the scene where Doug repeatedly punches a man in the face whilst he is on the floor is especially brutal.
