A deer stalker deep in an unnamed forest takes strange pleasure from the animals he kills. While consuming excessive amounts of alcohol, he stumbles upon a gory scene; a severed human foot, still inside a size nine hiking boot, and no sign of its owner. The Hunter, being too far from civilization, decides he must attempt to find the owner of the foot, tracking trails of blood through the wilderness. Days pass and The Hunter grows more and more uneasy of the foot, wondering what happened to its owner, and what caused the horrific injury. All the while on the horizon, an old windmill looms ominously, seemingly beckoning to The Hunter.
