This is the second "localized" remake of the 2003 Quebec film "Seducing Dr. Lewis" (aka La Grande Séduction). The story was relocated in 2013 to Newfoundland Canada as "The Grand Seduction" with Brendan Gleeson starring). These three versions were released exactly ten years apart.
