Bloody fun!

I saw this short at Animation Block Party and thought it was really awesome! The character voices and acting are perfect and the visual design is stark and beautiful. It's all hand drawn with ink and marker on paper, so you can really feel the texture and energy of each frame.

I'm a sucker for the ol' child-in-hilarious-danger routine and while the film does have a dark tone, it's always played up in a comical, cartoonish style that blends the funny and disturbing elements together. I'm actually not really sure who the target audience is (adults? kids?) but I think that works to its advantage.

I'm really looking forward to seeing more from this filmmaker.
