The movie is obviously taking place in the early 80s more so 1980 but yet in some scenes in the movie you find the character using guns that weren't available at that time.i can't seem to recall each scene but in the one scene Robert deniros character takes a sniping position with a gun that looks to be on an AR platform and the gun has modern picatinny rails, modern scope, and modern bipod that weren't even around in the early 80s. If you look in some other scenes men are seen carrying completely modern firearms some of which weren't even being manufactured in the early 80s.
All the cars in the UK scenes bore numberplates consisting of 3 numbers followed by 4 Letters, - this is not the format for any region of the uk. Though N Ireland does employ 3 letters then 4 numbers. But as these plates were illegal, then offences were committed during filming on public roads.
After Danny was playing boxing with Davies some where in Paris, France, they went to an office , on the glass door of the office the word "Manager" was written in Arabic. Which is the word "modeer" but it was written in Arabic letters
