Storyline

With Debra recovering in the hospital, Dexter re-doubles his efforts to locate the Trinity Killer. Knowing that he is following the same pattern as his murders from 30 years ago, Dexter is sure he knows where he will strike next. Afterward, he follows the serial killer to his home and is shocked by what he finds. Dexter also has some explaining to do when Rita finds out that he never gave up his apartment and still keeps some of his possessions there. Sgt. Batista plants a news item about the suspected Vacation Murderer that bears fruit. Having told her superiors of her relationship with Batista, the Deputy Chief delivers some bad news to Laguerta. Goofs

During "Dex Takes a Holiday (#4.4), Frank Lundy is heard recording notes during his encounter with the Trinity killer. He quotes the physical description of the killer as being 200-220 Lbs. Later, in Dirty Harry (#4.5), Dexter is listening to the same tape recovered from the evidence room; the playback describes the Trinity killer as being 190-200 Lbs. See more »

Officer Hanson: Hey you! Back behind the line.
Dexter Morgan: No, I was called here. I'm Dexter Morgan, that might be my sister.
Officer Hanson: Yeah, I understand sir, but right now I need you to step back and let our people do their job.
Dexter Morgan: No, no, I'm with Miami Metro, forensics, my... laminate and my wallet are in the car.
Officer Hanson: Then get your licence and ID, I need you to step back.
Dexter Morgan: [angrily] And I need you to fucking listen, my sister was shot, no one can tell me what her condition is and that's a dead body!

wow
27 October 2009 | by (France) – See all my reviews

I must admit that i thought the new seasons started very badly, Dex not in control, the improbable romance between Batista and laguerta, the return of old lost love for Debra etc So many clichés that almost made me forgot that Dexter was the most innovating TV show i show for decade.

But the 2 last episodes are so amazing, intense and again surprising. The ending of episode 4 was so unexpected that i thought that the writer will never surprise me again since i know that now everything is possible on this TV show. But i got shocked and so amazed by the ending of episode 5, i guess i had the same face than Dexter when he saw what we saw. I cannot remember to have been so connected to a reaction of a character than i was during the ending of this episode. I still cannot get over it today.

Bravo !!!!
