Michael, already moody because his mother plans to sell the house, he grudgingly stomachs Fiona's plan to return 'home' to Ireland as their relationship seems to be going nowhere. He objects morally to the first counter-service Strickler wants for reopening his burn-case. Then Fiona's brother Sean, who only knows Michael under an alias used when he met Fi in Northern Ireland, appears, warning them Irish split terrorist leader Thomas O'Neill has tracked them down and brought a killing team. Did You Know?

Much like the episode where Michael Westen meets the real-life actor Michael Weston, in this one he assumes the identity of "Micheal McBride." One of the Irish thugs is played by Michael McBride. See more »

Michael Westen: [narrative] When you work as a covert operative, there's no line between who you are and what you do. You are who you need to be for the operation. It makes you effective, it keeps things simple. But when you spend so much time living as someone else, sometimes the people you care about most begin to wonder who you really are.

Excellent episode!

Nice going into the summer break! Burn Notice is a fun show to watch anyway, but this one has it all: the intrigue, the badassness and the obligatory cliffhanger before a break. Makes one want the time to the conclusion pass a little faster. Even though the 'mysterious stranger' has been used before, the possibilities are pretty much endless at this point. There are endless possibilities for the show at this point which makes me hope for many more seasons to come.

I do salute the constant quality the show's makers deliver and I enjoy the occasional highlight even more. This was definitely one of 'em. Sláinte!
