At this point, the question isn’t whether Julia Louis-Dreyfus will score her fifth consecutive nomination for her role as President Selina Meyer on the HBO comedy “Veep,” but whether her winning streak will end. The actress has watched her character go from the titular vice president to leader of the free world, collecting a string of statues along the way. While Candice Bergen managed to score five wins for “Murphy Brown,” even she didn’t do it in a row.

‘Step Sisters’ Cast Unveiled by Broad Green

Broad Green Pictures has unveiled the ensemble cast of its dance comedy “Step Sisters,” formerly “Ain't No Half Steppin” with shooting starting June 1 in Atlanta.

The cast includes star Megalyn Echikunwoke (“90210,” “House of Lies”), Eden Sher (“The Middle”), Lyndon Smith (“Secret in Their Eyes,” “Parenthood”), Gage Golightly (“Red Oaks,” “Teen Wolf”), Nia Jervier (“Dear White People”), Alessandra Torresani (“The Big Bang Theory”), Marque Richardson (“Dear White People,” “All the Way”), Naturi Naughton (“Power,” “Notorious”) and Matt McGorry (“Orange Is the New Black,” “How to Get Away with Murder”).

Say goodbye to ABC's all-Shonda Thursday lineup — at least until midseason. Kerry Washington's pregnancy has delayed (and shortened) the next season of Scandal, which means the schedule ABC announced today will be the first in a few years featuring a show not produced by Shonda Rhimes airing on that night in the fall. ABC has renewed Tim Allen sitcom “Last Man Standing” for Season 6 and picked up Minnie Driver comedy “Speechless” for the 2016-17 season, Variety has learned.

Allen stars as Mike Baxter in “Last Man Standing,” which is created by Jack Burditt and executive produced by Allen, Matt Berry, Martin Adelstein, Becky Clements, Shawn Levy, Richard Baker, Rick Messina, Kevin Abbott, Kevin Hench and Michael Shipley. Actress Doris Roberts, best known for playing the title character's mother in the hit sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond, passed away last night at the age of 90. The actress' son, Michael Canata, confirmed to Deadline that she died in her sleep last night from natural causes. Here's what the actress' Everybody Loves Raymond co-star Ray Romano had to say in a statement about her passing.

"Doris Roberts had an energy and a spirit that amazed me. She never stopped. Whether working professionally or with her many charities, or just nurturing and mentoring a green young comic trying to make it as an actor, she did everything with such a grand love for life and people and I will miss her dearly."
